CNC Lathe & Mill Programmer

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 yrs. experience working as a CNC Lathe & Mill Programmer from blueprint to first article
  • CNC skills required include: blueprint reading, programming, set-up, and troubleshooting on programming 4-8 axis Lathes and Mills; 5 axes a plus
  • Must have experience programming the following equipment: Okuma Lathes, Miyano, Hardinge, Haas, Tsugami, Mori Seiki & Horizontal Machining Centers, Single and Twin Turret and twin spindle, Fanuc Control Panel
  • Experience with all Quality Control testing equipment
  • Experience training CNC lathe & mill machining, programming and troubleshooting skills
  • Must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Gibbs Cam, etc

Responsibilities:

  • Program, troubleshoot and set-up CNC Lathes and Mills from blueprint to first article
  • Recommend and implement improvements to design processes, methods and controls
  • Perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency
  • Integrate standard and custom designs into a unified system; take a project from concept to production
  • Training of employees on CNC machining, programming, set-up, and troubleshooting
