AO Precision Manufacturing LLC was started in 1982 in Daytona Beach, Florida. We are a leading provider of firearms, parts and components of the M-16 for our warfighters. We also manufacture for gun builders in the commercial markets. In the industry, our name is synonymous with fine weapons, with our parts and assemblies included in most M-16’s in military weaponry and the AR-15 in commercial markets. When you see our U.S. troops with their M-16 rifles chances are they're built with AO Precision’s parts.

AO Precision through our sister company Galion LLC is one of the leading manufacturers’ of ordnance and projectiles in the United States. We have the capabilities to build the military standard 5.56 brass and the associated bullet, to the much larger 50 caliber rounds. We build the popular 20mm, 25mm and the 30mm projectiles. AO Precision/OPTIM Incorporated is your single source micro precision manufacturer of medical devices and implants. Manufacturing is accomplished either in our Daytona Beach location or at Optim, our Sturbridge, MA facility. OPTIM Incorporated offers design and manufacturing expertise for fiber optic endoscopes, endoscope subassemblies and components for medical and industrial imaging applications. OPTIM's contract design, manufacturing, and assembly services are in compliance with FDA-CGMP and ISO9001 / EN46001 standards, ensuring consistent production to customer specifications.

AO Precision has a reputation for producing high quality precision turned parts from micro miniature size up to 1.250 inches in diameter from materials including various steels, aluminum, and exotics in both ANSI and Metric configurations. Our complete inspection facilities include coordinated measuring capabilities and written inspection reports on request.

On a daily basis we use our machining centers with "ASQ" principles to manufacture super high quality parts and still maintain the highest productivity levels in the turned parts industry. This results in our customers consistently receiving premium quality parts without paying the inflated price usually associated with parts made to this level.

Our component parts are found in a wide variety of products including: firearms, firearm components, ammunition, missiles, bombs, and a variety of Aerospace and Defense assemblies. There is a reason our customers allow us to ship directly to their production lines.
