Requirements:
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent; technical school, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience
- Experience with setting-up lathes AND mills, troubleshooting skills resolving production machining issues
- Ability to read blueprints, process documentation and inspection measuring devices
- Must have working experience of the following: Statistical Process Control (SPC), Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T), Military Specification (MIL-SPEC), American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
- Must be able to set-up, and adjust program and machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, boring machines, drills & punch presses, grinders, and other machines to very close tolerances from print or specification
Responsibilities: Perform the following on Mills AND Lathes:
- Machine set-ups utilizing part processing documentation and/or engineering documentation
- Download part programs into machine controls
- Perform 1st piece prove-out
- Troubleshoot and resolve production machining issues
- Edit programs as necessary; assist in machine maintenance duties
